Library and Information Studies

The continuing education program in "Library and Information Studies" prepares students for higher qualified functions in the area of information and knowledge management, with particular focus on libraries, information and documentation centers and similar institutions.

In addition to management basics for library, information and documentation services, fundamentals of media theory, media infrastructure development, information retrieval and legal basics, the program is work-related and contains a comprehensive practical part.

The continuing education program is a collaboration between the Universities of Graz, Innsbruck and Salzburg, in cooperation with the Austrian National Library.
