Law on Religion

The continuing education master’s programme in Law on Religion at the University of Vienna familiarises students with the legal framework that aims to guarantee a peaceful coexistence of different religious beliefs. Graduates of this programme have the necessary abilities to reason current legal issues concerning the practice of religion in the broadest sense, both at the individual and collective level, from the perspective of tradition or from a perspective rejecting traditions. The programme qualifies graduates for executive and administrative positions with religious communities and subordinate institutions as well as for legal professions that deal with the relevant issues.
