Competence Profile

• Participants will become familiar with national and international theories and concepts concerning the disaster management cycle in order to be able to apply them
• Participants will acquire knowledge of systems for risk prevention and disaster management, including exercises on the application of such systems to different contexts and case studies. Participants will gain knowledge and competence in dealing with risks and disasters.
• After successfully completing the master's program, the participants will be in the position to assess complex disaster situations in a holistic and interdisciplinary manner as well as manage such situations accordingly successfully.
