Clinical Pharmacy

Clinical pharmacy describes an area of pharmacy that investigates the science and practice of the rational use of pharmaceuticals. Clinical pharmacists work in a patient-oriented way and help in optimizing medication, promoting health and avoiding diseases. Clinical pharmacy is not the same as hospital pharmacy, but is rather a subdiscipline of hospital pharmacy as well as pharmacy in public pharmacies. Ideally, it can be found in all health care setting.
