Content and objectives
The certificate program comprises the elective theoretical courses of the Advanced Study in Psychotherapy program.
Participants completing the master’s upgrade acquire basic academic competences and knowledge of research methods as well as advanced knowledge and skills in the field of person-centered psychotherapy.
Target group
The certificate program is targeted at candidates completing one of the three Advanced Study in Psychotherapy programs.
The master’s upgrade is targeted at candidates who work with the three institutions that offer the Advanced Study in Psychotherapy program and would like to further their academic education in the field of psychotherapy.
Qualification profile
Graduates of the continuing education programs have profound academic knowledge in the field of person-centered psychotherapy and are able to further extend, investigate and critically assess existing knowledge in the field of psychotherapy using academic methods
Prerequisites for participation
Certificate program
- Admission as a candidate for the Advanced Study in Psychotherapy program at one of the three partner institutions
Master’s upgrade
- Successful completion of a degree program (at least 180 ECTS Credits)
- In justified individual cases, persons providing evidence of sufficient relevant professional experience, a secondary-school leaving certificate and the completion of relevant continuing education and training may also be admitted.
- Admission as a candidate for the Advanced Study in Psychotherapy program or the successful completion of the program with one of the three partner institutions
