European Law Moot Court Competition

The European Law team of Prof. Thomas Jaeger will prepare, under the guidance of Daniela Gschwindt, again a team of students of the University of Vienna for the European Law Moot Court Competition (ELMC) in the fall semester 2022-2023. The ELMC is the most prestigious European Law Moot Court with over 80 international universities participating every year. The ELMC Finals take place at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg by pleading before the judges of the CJEU. Last year, the team of the University of Vienna was the second best team of this prestigious ELMC, and the University of Vienna is eager to repeat this success.

More details about the ELMC are available here: ELMC Flyer (pdf)

First law degree students, doctoral law students, and LLM students are eligible to participate in the ELMC.

The ELMC is optional and will be recognized as an elective course for the LLM Program in European and International Business Law, connected with a value of 8 ECTS Credits (4 units).

If you have any questions regarding the ELMC, please contact Daniela Gschwindt (daniela.gschwindt@univie.ac.at).
